Lilimae came to us in the midst of the Covid pandemic when pretty much the whole country was on lockdown. We trusted her pedigree and photos and bought her sight unseen. Lili carries the well-known Anvil lines top and bottom and is by the late stallion D+ Elko, who measured a stunning 15hh with a 9 inch cannon bone. Tall and gorgeous Lili adapted seemlessly from her life at a boarding barn to our more 'free-spirited' way of horse keeping out in the woods in a herd setting. She is a gentle mare that prefers geldings over bossy mares and is so sweet she even lets other foals nurse off of her. Her first foal Edda is a stunner and has been added to our future broodmare band.
